We follow a data-minimization approach. Job-helper processes information only when it is necessary to provide a feature requested by the user.
Job descriptions
Used to extract responsibilities, requirements, skills, experience and other relevant information.
Resume data
Used to compare your experience and skills with the requirements of a specific job.
AI processing
Used to generate matching analysis, skill-gap analysis and resume suggestions.
Browser permissions
Job-helper may request permission to access pages on supported recruitment websites. This allows the extension to identify and process job descriptions.
What this permission is used for
- Reading relevant job description content.
- Identifying job titles, responsibilities, requirements and related information.
- Displaying Job-helper's analysis on the page.
What Job-helper does not do
- We do not intentionally collect passwords.
- We do not intentionally collect payment card information.
- We do not sell browsing history to advertisers.
- We do not submit job applications on your behalf unless a future feature explicitly states otherwise.
Encryption & secure transmission
Data transmitted between Job-helper clients and our backend services is designed to use encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
API credentials and sensitive service configuration are intended to remain on our server-side infrastructure rather than being exposed directly in the browser extension.
Where third-party AI or translation services are used, requests are routed through controlled backend infrastructure when technically applicable.
AI & third-party processing
Some Job-helper features rely on third-party AI, translation, cloud infrastructure or other service providers.
Depending on the feature you use, information such as job descriptions or resume content may be transmitted to these providers for processing.
AI processing principles
- AI processing is performed to provide the feature requested by the user.
- We do not intentionally use submitted resumes for advertising purposes.
- We aim to minimize the amount of information sent to external services.
- Third-party providers may have their own security and privacy policies.
Data retention
We aim to retain user information only for as long as necessary to provide the requested service.

Job-helper uses cloud infrastructure and application security practices appropriate for an early-stage software service.

No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security. We continuously evaluate and improve our security practices as the product evolves.
You control your data
Your resume and career information remain yours. Job-helper does not acquire ownership of content that you submit to the service.
Depending on the features available in your account, you may be able to delete saved resumes, analysis history or other stored information.
You may also contact us to request access to, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law.
Responsible AI
Job-helper uses AI to assist users with job discovery, resume analysis and career-related decisions.
AI-generated results may contain errors or inaccuracies. A match score is an analytical estimate and does not represent an employer's decision, hiring probability or guarantee of employment.
We encourage users to review AI-generated results before relying on them for employment or career decisions.
Security reporting
If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability in Job-helper, please report it to us privately rather than publicly disclosing the issue.
Please include enough information for us to reproduce and investigate the issue.
